RADIO FRANCE

Radio France is the French public service radio broadcaster. Radio France took over the activities of the radio division of ORTF (Office de Radiodiffusion Télévision Française) in January 1975. RFI (Radio France Internationale) was originally part of Radio France but in 1986 a new law passed by the French Parliament allowed RFI to operate independently of Radio France.

RADIO FRANCE INTERNATIONALE

Radio France Internationale (RFI) was created in 1975 as part of Radio France by the Government of France to serve as a broadcast vehicle for French Equatorial Africa. In 1986 a new law passed by the French Parliament allowed RFI to operate independently of Radio France. RFI operates under the auspices and primary budget of the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. It broadcasts in various languages, including English, Polish, Portuguese, Russian,Chinese and Spanish.

RADIO MONTE CARLOS

Radio Monte Carlo is considered one of the most popular networks especially in non-European Italian and French-speaking regions for its assumed neutrality. During the Iraq War, it was mentioned by some journalists as a reliable source.

NRJ

The NRJ Group has transformed itself from one radio station to a brand of commercial radio stations in Europe. Currently, it has stations in France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Bulgaria, New Caledonia, and Lebanon. NRJ plays current, trendy music for young audiences. Their slogan is "Hit music only". They also operate the NRJ12 music television station in France.

RADIO CAMPUS PARIS

Radio Campus Paris is a non-profit student radio. Funded in 1997 and first broadcasted on the Internet, the radio can be listened to in Paris, France on 93.9 FM (from 5.30 p.m. to 5.30 a.m.). Managed by volunteers (mainly students), this indie student radio focuses on emerging music and local and student-related news.
