Agip

Agip Agip (Azienda Generale Italiana Petroli) is an Italian automotive gasoline and diesel retailer. It is a subsidiary of multinational petroleum company Eni. Eni owns a number of production plants for finished lubricants and greases in Italy, Europe, North and South America, and the Far East. Through its Agip Gas brand, Eni also markets Lpg for domestic, heavy and light industrial and agricultural uses. The entire chain of refining and marketing activities is made possible by crude trading activities, for the procurement of supplies for the company’s refining operations but also involving sales on international markets.

Enel

Enel Enel is Italy’s largest power company, and Europe’s third-largest listed utility for market capitalization. Listed on the Milan and New York stock exchanges since 1999, Enel has the largest number of shareholders, at some 2.3 million. It has a market capitalisation of about EUR41 billion at current prices. Enel produces and sells electricity mostly in Europe, North and Latin America. In the power business, Enel has 53,000 Megawatt of generating capacity and has 32 million electricity customers. Enel is also the second-largest Italian distributor and vendor of natural gas, with over 2.2 million customers and a 12% market share.

Eni Eni S.p.A. is an Italian multinational oil and gas company, with a presence in 70 countries and 71,500 employees. Eni is currently Italy's largest industrial company. It has been very recently privatized, the first 14.7 percent being sold to the public for $4.1 billion in 1995.
